Cleaner/housekeeper

IMMEDIATE START - MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OR PERMANENT

An elegant 5-star resort hotel 8 kms from the vibrant outdoor adventure, thermal pools sub-alpine tourist town of Hanmer Springs is looking for a Cleaner/Housekeeper who can also help out in the restaurant.

This is a position for ONE person.  Minimum 30 hours a week, with on-site staff accommodation at a reasonable rate.

You will need to be a New Zealander, or a resident or hold a valid visa which allows you to work in New Zealand.   Visa sponsorship is not available.  You will also need to have a reasonable level of English.

Previous cleaning experience and waiting experience is preferred and you will need to have good customer service, people and communication skills, with a happy, bright personality.

Hanmer Springs is one of the most beautiful parts of the South Island.  It is 130 kms north-west of the city of Christchurch.  The world-renowned Thermal Poos and Spa are central, and the town has many fantastic bars and restaurants.  It is also the gateway to the Great New Zealand outdoors.  Mountain biking, hiking, bungy jumping, walking, fishing, horse trekking rafting and just about every adventure sports New Zealand is famous for are all within easy reach.  Ski at Mt Lyford which is only about 45 minutes away.
