Employer Content & Advert Review: All job listings, descriptions, and related communications published on this website are provided directly by third-party employers. While backpackerboard makes reasonable efforts to review and check job adverts prior to or following publication to maintain platform quality, we do not create, control, or independently investigate the underlying operations of third-party employers.
No Guarantee or Endorsement: Our review process does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, truthfulness, legality, safety, wage offers, or working conditions of any job post listed on the site.
Job Scams & Fraudulent Activity: While Backpackerboard takes proactive steps to eliminate fraudulent listings, job scams and fake postings can occasionally occur. Backpackers are strongly advised to remain vigilant. In accordance with New Zealand employment law, legitimate employers will never ask you to pay money or transfer funds to secure a job.
User Due Diligence: It is the sole responsibility of job seekers and backpackers to perform their own background checks, verify listing details, and exercise due diligence prior to entering into communications, sharing personal identity documents, applying for, accepting any position, or signing an employment contract.
Reporting Concerns: If you encounter a listing that appears suspicious, asks for upfront payments, or violates local employment standards, please report it to backpackerboard immediately so we can investigate and remove the listing if necessary.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, backpackerboard accepts no liability or responsibility for any mistakes, omissions, misleading statements, financial losses, disputes, personal injuries, scams, or issues arising from third-party job listings or employment arrangements made through this site.
