There is plenty of retail work to be found in New Zealand - with everything from working in a petrol /gas station to a high end clothing boutique. The majority of the work, of course, can be found in and around the major cities and towns within New Zealand. But there is also lots of work to be found in the remoter areas, towns and even highways working on fruit / veggie stalls and dairy's (or convenience store). As most shops are open at weekends and some evenings, you should be able to fin hours to suit whether it be full time, part time or just evenings or weekends. No specific skills or training are generally needed for retail work but a team work, common sense and great customer services skills will get you far.
