Short to Long Term Assistant –  begins with a  2 week Trial (Live-In) with and option for longer term employment. Turtle Totes, an earth friendly woven bag brand (made from recycled water bottles!), requires a hands-on, online media savvy person to promote the brand, assist in product distribution and  There are other key responsibilities on offer as well. This is a varied role, perfect for someone practical, proactive and personable.There is potential for long term contract work. I am currently in the Fiji Yasawa Islands working on a Turtle research project. Returning May 18 to NZ.  Key Responsibilities Include

- Managing Website input and sales (Shopify platform)

- Helping post content on Social Media -Mainly  Instagram and Facebook

- Assisting at Markets and Trade shows (set-up, customer support,sales)

- Turtle Tote Customer Support

Live-in Option:

Live-in accommodation is available if needed (private room, rural, beach environment).

Ideal Requirements:

- Experience with social media and website editing

- Flexible and reliable – comfortable with a fluid agenda/ weekend work

- Physically capable of lifting/moving market gear

- Enjoys a varied, relaxed work environment

- Comfortable around dogs.

- Kindred Spirit (high priority)

Job Details:

Start date: 19 May 2026

Location: Algies Bay, Auckland

Contract type: Fixed term – 2 week contract  which can extend to a longer term option (initial trial, option to extend)

Pay:  22 volunteer hours in return for 7 days food and accommodation . Paid work is at the discretion of Turtle Totes managemwent  

Hours:  22 hours per week minimum
