Experienced Cafe Manager

HANMER SPRINGS, NORTH CANTERBURY, OUTDOOR ADVENTURE TOURIST TOWN

Looking for a motivated, all-round and experienced professional to take control of front-of- house in an extremely busy cafe.  This is a full time, permanent position with excellent career prospects.

While you would report to the owners, you would be responsible for the day to day running of the cafe, including front-of-house, the cafe staff, rostering, manage the barista and coffee-making side of things, ordering, banking and helping out with prep if required, making sure staff clean the cafe and everything runs smoothly.

Hanmer Springs is an awesome, outdoor adventure, thermal pools and spa tourist town.  It is 130kms north of the city of Christchurch.  It is a cool place to live - a great community, friendly people and there is always a lot going on.  The air is clear, great walking, biking and hiking tracks… and lots more.

The cafe is open 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays, so you need to be available for weekend work, any five days out of seven.

It is day work only, but you need to be able to multi-task, have great customer service, people management skills and to be able to work under pressure.

We would assist you to get suitable accommodation before you come.

Sounds interesting ?  A great career more… for more information contact us.

Unfortunately, we are not an accredited employer, so you need to be a New Zealander/Resident or have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
