EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - MORNING SHIFTS WITH SATURDAYS

If you can cook, and have previous commercial kitchen experience, you may enjoy this job.  

You will mainly be covering the morning shift, breakfast through until early afternoon, but with some weekend shifts on a Saturday or busy times.  Any 5 days out of 7 including weekends.  Minimum 30 hours a week - more when its busy now we move into Summer which is coming fast.

You will need previous kitchen experience as a Cook/Commis of Demi Chef, or similar.  Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a kitchen environment.  Reasonable spoken English is required.  

It is a small team, so we need a good all-rounder who is flexible and prepared to do whatever is required.  You will be helping with food preparation and assisting with the general cleanliness and running of the kitchen and supporting the other chefs.

This can be for a fixed term with a start soon, through until March or April 2027, although permanent would be preferred.

Assistance to get accommodation is available.  Your own furnished room in a house with others and sharing communal areas.

You must have the legal right to work in NZ.  Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Enjoy spending time in this beautiful sub-alpine tourist town 130kms northwest of the city of Christchurch.  It's a busy place.
