The Albie is on the hunt for a Head Chef to join our epic wee team. We're under new ownership, we're growing, and our food offering is evolving — this is your chance to take the reins and help shape what a bloody good pub and takeaway kitchen looks like.

We're a people-focused crew who like to have a damn good time while we're at it. Food's how we bring our community together, and we've got grand dreams for where this goes.

The role:

• Head chef across both our pub/bistro menu and takeaway offering — one great, big kitchen, two offerings
• Putting your own creative stamp on the great Kiwi pub classics our locals love
• Leading the kitchen team and keeping things running like clockwork
• Playing a real part in shaping our food as the business grows

You'll be a good fit if you:

• Have solid experience running a kitchen (head chef or ready to step up from sous)
• Love good, honest pub food and enjoy putting your own twist on it
• Can lead and bring a kitchen team along with you
• Want to be part of something growing, not just clocking in
