Offal Packer

Offal (heart, liver, kidneys etc) packing is a very physical role with good strength in your wrists essential. Also given that you are dealing with the intestines of a cow or sheep it is not for the faint hearted. It's a unique operating environment, so it's really important that candidates are physically fit to safely do the work - ideally you should be able to stand for long periods, be able to move safely around machinery, undertake moderate to heavy lifting, wear appropriate safety gear and operate safely in a cold environment (4.0 to -20 degrees). Appropriate PPE and freezer gear/clothes will be provided to allow you to perform your role safely.

Candidates also need to be motivated, reliable and have a desire to work 40 - 50 hours a week. We're looking for reliable people who are keen to be part of a successful team, who understand and are willing to do their part for the benefit of the whole team.

Hours Monday to Friday are:
Night Shift 6.00am - 3:30pm
Note: some weekend shifts as required.
Pay is 25/hr + 8% holiday pay. Help finding accommodation is provided.

Suitable for those on Working Holiday Visas but must commit to a minimum of 3 months work. Long term work visa available for those wishing to remain in NZ for a further 3 years.
