Cleaner & Maintenance Team Member – Immediate Start

The historic The Duke of Marlborough Hotel is looking for a reliable and hard-working Cleaner & Maintenance Team Member to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone practical, energetic, and happy to jump in wherever needed. You’ll help keep our hotel, grounds, and guest areas looking their best while supporting general maintenance around the property.

The role includes:

• General cleaning of guest and public areas,including hotel rooms
• Assisting the housekeeping team when required
• Basic maintenance and repair work
• Grounds and outdoor upkeep
• Helping maintain high presentation standards across the property

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Is practical, reliable, and physically fit
• Can work flexible hours including weekends
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Has NZ work eligibility (must be legally able to work in New Zealand)
• Holds a full driver licence — advantageous
• Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is helpful but not essential
