Dairy Farm Assistant

A Balclutha dairy farm milking 850 cows through a 50-bale rotary shed. We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant. Limited Dairy farming Experience.  Duties included but are not limited to milking, stock Handling and feeding, fencing, weed control, farm and dairy shed, and farm machinery maintenance and preparation. Maintain animal health, calf rearing, and other farm duties. Additional duties include pasture management and documentation work.  Clean criminal record - able to pass a drug test. And there are no pets allowed. The minimum guaranteed hours are 35 per week, and the average hours per week are 40. All the additional hours will be paid at $29.66/ hour. You must agree to work in our runoff block within 20 minutes of the dairy farm
