The Godley Hotel and Jack Rabbit Café, Bar & Restaurant are looking for two friendly and motivated people to join our team!

We have two full-time positions available, making this a great opportunity for a couple or friends looking to work and live together.

We’re looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy and friendly kitchen team.

Your responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking quality meals
• Assisting with food preparation and kitchen service
• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
• Keeping your work area clean and organised
• Working together with the team to ensure smooth service

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• A positive attitude and good teamwork skills

This role is mainly based at hotel reception, with some additional help in housekeeping and at our Jack Rabbit Café, Bar & Restaurant.

Your responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs
• Handling guest enquiries and general reception duties
• Helping with housekeeping when needed
• Assisting the restaurant team during busy periods
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service

What we're looking for:

• A friendly and positive attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and flexible
• Happy to help across different areas of the business

• Start date: 23 November 2026
• Commitment: Minimum 3 months (longer stays preferred)
• Pay Allrounder: $26 per hour + 8% holiday pay
• Pay Chef: Pay negotiable depending on experience
