We’re looking for a charismatic and enthusiastic individual or couple to manage one of our food trucks. This is a fantastic opportunity for travelers looking for a unique experience in New Zealand, meeting friendly locals and working at a different location almost every day.

About Us

Double Dutch Fries was born out of the struggle to find decent hand-cut fries in Auckland. We now operate two food trucks, serving fresh-cut fries made from whole potatoes, frying up to 500kg on our best days.

We only hire fun, positive, hard-working people who thrive in a busy environment. Personality comes first, experience second!

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and packing the truck before each shift

• Driving the truck to events (manual transmission, no special license required)

• Setting up, serving customers, and packing down after events

• Returning the truck to base

• Assisting with event setup (depending on your skills and experience)

The role is available at the end of October, and we’re ideally looking for someone to stay for at least 3 months

What We’re Looking For

• A fun, witty personality

• Someone who can cope well under pressure

• A valid driver’s license and confidence driving a manual vehicle

• Available to work for at least 3 months (longer is a bonus!)

• Dutch speakers are a plus, but not essential
