Front of House & Bar Staff Wanted – The whaler, Kaikōura

We’re looking for enthusiastic Front of House duty manager and Bar Staff to join our busy team at the the whaler Bar & Restaurant in beautiful Kaikōura.

💼 About the Role:

You'll be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with responsibilities including:

• Serving food and drinks
• Upselling and providing great customer service
• Bartending and operating the till
• Cleaning and maintaining the premises
• Adhering to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act

✅ Requirements:

• Relevant experience in hospitality
• A current work visa (for casual applicants)
• Availability for a minimum of 3 months (4 months for full-time with potential to become Duty Manager)
• Good communication and a strong work ethic

💰 Pay is based on experience.
