Hospitality Staff - Boots and Jandals Hotel  - Omarama

Job Description

We are looking for two - three capable and diligent bar staff, wait staff and kitchenhand, to job our busy team at this popular hotel for the busy summer period, starting early to mid-November 

Tasks and duties will involve:

• providing customer service on the till and front of house
• waiting tables
• Food Prep 

• general cleaning tasks

   

Full training can be provided for the successful candidates, but it is expected that applicants will have great communication and interpersonal skills, ideally some experience in customer service, and a lot of initiative and common sense. The hotel is located in Omarama, Waitaki valley, north Otago, south Isaland.

These positions offer approximately 30 hours each week with two rostered days off. Shift times are approximately 10.00am 4.00pm and 5.00pm -close. There is scope to do more than 40 hours for those who're keen over the busy holiday period.

Accommodation can be provided if required with a reasonable weekly rent. We also offer a dinner meal for all staff working on the evening shift working 4 hours or more. . 

Pay is negotiable depending on experience ($25.00- $28.00per hour )
