Embroidery Machine Operators

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a multi-head Embroidery machine and assisting in the other areas of branding such as application of digital prints and badges. You will need to assist with preparation of garments before and after the embroidery process, and assisting with folding, packaging and processing items, while ensuring high quality workmanship and timely production as part of the wider Operations.

Responsibilities include:

Operate industrial embroidery machinery to create unique embroidery designs on garments. Setting up jobs: loading designs, selecting and changing threads, matching colours to specification. Hooping and positioning garments accurately across a wide range of fabrics and items Managing thread tension and machine settings to hold quality across long runs Able to efficiently troubleshoot machinery issues, thread-breaks, and optimise machine uptime. Complete orders in a timely and accurate manner to achieve completion deadlines. Ensure client's orders are readied, framed and packaged before the date of delivery. Manage inventory, maintained stocks of needles, threads, beads and other embroidery materials as required for completion of client orders. Set up the configuration for machines. Set up the coloured threads in appropriate sequence, required to produce the desired designs. Hoop garment and fabric/backings accurately. Select the correct type and colour of threads/needles/materials. Tidy up any loose stitching and trim interfacings prior to labelling and packaging completed goods for distribution. Complete orders in a timely and accurate manner to achieve completion deadlines. Sort, count, and bundle garments by job or order. Keep work areas clean and organised. Support machine operators Operate heatpress machine (training provided). Able to create and edit embroidery designs using Embroidery software.

About you

Minimum 2 years relevant Industrial Embroidery Machine Experience. Basic Computer literacy Minimum Guaranteed 30 hours per week, standard 42.5-45 hours. Willing to work evening shift - 2:00pm-10:00pm (or similar) Able to complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test, and/or provide an up-to-date criminal record check on request
