Hotel Assistant Allrounder

Looking for a good all-round hospitality professional, who is happy to work in all departments in a resort style hotel in Hanmer Springs.

Enjoy spending time in this beautiful outdoor adventure, sub-alpine tourist town 130kms northwest of the city of Christchurch, where the air is clear, nature and the great outdoors is right there and you can do just about any outdoor activity - hiking, walking, mountain biking, rafting, night-sky watching, bungy jumping etc. The Thermal Pools are awesome too.  There is a good social scene and there is a lot going on.  Here is a link https://www.visithanmersprings.co.nz.

You would be doing a couple of night as night porter, working in the restaurant, doing some housekeeping and from time to time working on reception.  This is a job for ONE person.

This is a full-time position (minimum 30 hours a week), shift work and you must be prepared to commit for a minimum of 8 months, although someone permanent would be preferred.  

You will need previous experience in a hotel, or similar, have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a good standard of English.  You will be a people person who is adaptable and flexible and if you are not a New Zealander, you will need a visa which enables you to live and to work in New Zealand.  Sorry, visa sponsorship is not available.
