We’re after someone grounded, reliable, and ready to trade the ordinary for something far more interesting, and the opportunity to explore this wild, majestic landscape. 

The work? Mostly cleaning, nothing extreme. A few hours a day with plenty of time left for hiking, thinking, or doing absolutely nothing.

It’s not a luxury resort. The weather has moods. The private accommodation is basic. But the reward? A front-row seat to one of the most spectacular landscapes in New Zealand — and a genuine sense of purpose.
