Kiwifruit Summer Pruning Season

Hi Everyone, 

                           We Need around 30 people for the upcoming  kiwifruit summer pruning season. The season will be starting from the first week of October. It can start anytime in between 1st to 10th of October and  will last till Christmas. We need people who can commit to work till christmas OR untill 20th of December at least. The working hours are from 7.30am till  6pm around 9 to 10 hours per day 7 days a week if no raining. The orchards are located at Tauranga, Te puna and  Te Puke  area. You will get paid hourly rate which is $24 plus 8% Holiday pay = $26 per hour. You will be doing bud thining, Tiping, and other orchard maintenance jobs. You don,t need any experience full training will be provided. To get this job you must be at least 165cm tall and must be physically fit as this job is physically demanding. To get a job you must have a valid working Holiday visa, IRD number and  Bank Account number.

We are  Loft 109 Backpackers located at 8/109 Devonport road in Taurange CBD. We do have special weekly dormitory  beds available. We  are charging $230 per week for 10 bed dormitory, $240 per week for 8 bed dormitory, $250 per week for 6 bed dormitory and $260 per week for 3 bed dormitory.  

To secure a job for you need to ring the backpackers on 075795638 and tell them that you are coming to do the Kiwifruit summer season. Once you have booked a bed the the job is secured for you.

If you do not have a  car then the transportation  is also available from the Loft 109 Backpackers. Transportation is only available for the people staying at the backpackers. Transportation  will cost you $10 per day

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE JOBS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE PEOPLE STAYING AT LOFT 109 BACKPACKERS. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY AT THE BACKPACKERS THEN PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB.

You can sign the employment agreement/contract at the Backpackers Reception Once you are checked in the backpackers then you just need to tell the receptionist that you are here to work in Kiwifruit orchard and he will provide you a contract agreement to fill out. Once you have signed the contract then will add you in a watsapp group and you will receive all the information on wats app group like the orchard location and start time.
