Hospitality Duo

Murchison is a small town, on state highway 6, South Island. Surrounded by National Parks & rivers, a paradise for kayakers, trampers, fishermen & cyclists. 

We have 2 positions, each for 25+ hours per week, over 4/5 days (from 3pm to 9ish), so all day to play on the river.

Both positions, need someone with excellent time management and effective communication skills whilst dealing with the manager, chef, front of house staff and customers!

First position… experience in cooking in a commercial kitchen, as one of a team! a can-do attitude and ability to work without handholding is important for this back of house position.  

The second position… is front of house, so experience in waiting tables, pos systems, good language skills, would be appreciated.

The Cow Shed Restaurant has approximately 45 covers (inside) and a further 45 outside (weather permitting). We also have a takeaway pizza service.

We are generally producing 40/50 pizzas per evening… though occasionally 90+ during holidays… open Monday through to Saturday from 4.30pm closing at 8.30pm
