Vineyard Workers

Prophets Rock Wines is a leading Central Otago Vineyard located in Bendigo. We have three vineyards, all roughly 20 minutes' drive from Cromwell.

We are currently putting a small team together for the upcoming season which runs through into February 2027, we don't expect people to stay that long, but it is possible to.

We work Monday to Friday, 8 hrs a day 5 days a week, rain may affect these hours possibly, not usually a problem in Central Otago. We may work some extra hours if we get behind.

The work is not that difficult, but a reasonable level of fitness is required as some of the vineyards are on a hill, and it is outdoors all day.

Pay is $23.95 + holiday pay. Paid fortnightly.

At one of our three vineyards there is an option to stay at, you need to have a van to stay here. 

There are some basic facilities, there is no electricity. There is a hot shower, washing machine and basic cooking facilities. There is some solar power to charge phones etc. A work van is based here to get people to and from our other vineyards.

It's basic but it is only $25 per week per person.

If our transport is unavailable for some reason, you must have the ability to drive yourself to work.

We are not an SSE approved employer, so we can’t employ people on SSE Visas.
