Breakfast Chef – Tees St Café
Location: Oamaru, Otago
Tees St Café is looking for an experienced and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in preparing consistently high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes.
About the role
- Preparing and cooking breakfast and café-style meals
- Managing your section efficiently during busy services
- Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen setup
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and consistency
- Following food-safety and hygiene requirements
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
About you
- Previous experience working as a breakfast chef or cook is required
- Confident working independently during busy services
- Reliable, organised and able to manage time well
- Positive attitude and a strong team player
- Available for early starts, weekends and public holidays
- Passionate about good food and quality presentation
