Warehouse Ecommerce Assistant

Vanlifer is a growing Auckland-based campervan conversion and e-commerce business. We manufacture campervan interiors and sell a wide range of campervan parts, accessories and DIY products throughout New Zealand.

We're looking for a switched-on, organised and motivated person to help run our warehouse and online store.

This isn't just a packing job. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems and finding smarter ways to work.

What you'll be doing:

• Picking, packing and dispatching Shopify orders each morning.
• Booking couriers and coordinating deliveries.
• Receiving stock and checking deliveries against purchase orders.
• Conducting stocktakes and keeping inventory accurate.
• Cleaning up Shopify product listings, pricing and stock quantities.
• Helping walk-in customers find products and processing POS sales.
• Coordinating dropshipping orders with suppliers.
• Working with our remote e-commerce coordinator to resolve customer and stock issues.
• Exploring how AI and automation can improve our warehouse and online store.
• Helping organise and improve our warehouse systems.

Who we're looking for:

We're more interested in your attitude and ability to learn than your previous experience.

You might be a university student, recent graduate or someone looking to develop a career in e-commerce and business operations.

Ideally, you'll be:

• Smart, organised and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable using computers and learning software.
• Interested in Shopify, e-commerce, AI or automation.
• Happy doing physical warehouse work as well as computer-based tasks.
• Confident communicating with customers.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Someone who notices problems and enjoys fixing them.

Experience with Shopify, retail, inventory management or warehouse operations would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

• $27-$32 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours:

Initially approximately 20-25 hours per week, ideally covering weekday mornings when online orders need to be dispatched.

Some flexibility may be available around university commitments.
