We’re looking for two great people to join our professional, friendly team at Waiheke Distilling Co. Our boutique distillery combines handcrafted spirits, a beautiful botanical garden, a fully licensed bar, tastings and pizza — all with some of the best views on the island.

🍸 FOH / BARTENDER — FULL-TIME (30+ HS)

We’re looking for a friendly FOH all-rounder with Bartender experience to join our Garden Bar team. You’ll be welcoming guests, serving food and drinks, working behind the bar and hosting spirit tastings — so no two days are quite the same.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Friendly table and bar service
• Hosting gin and vodka tastings
• Taking orders and operating POS
• Keeping guest areas looking great
• Preparing and serving drinks and cocktails
• Bar setup, service and close-down

You’ll need:

• Hospitality experience preferred
• A warm, confident personality and love of working with people
• An interest in spirits, cocktails and food
• Weekend availability — essential
• Available to start immediately

🍕 KITCHEN ASSISTANT — FULL-TIME (30+ HS)

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Kitchen Assistant to join our small kitchen team at Waiheke Distilling Co. You’ll be supporting the kitchen team with food preparation, service and keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Basic food preparation and mise en place
• Assisting with pizza preparation and service
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
• Washing dishes and general kitchen duties
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
• Following food safety and hygiene standards
• Helping with opening and closing duties as required

You’ll need:

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred, but not essential
• A positive, reliable and hands-on attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a small team
• Good communication and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Weekend availability — essential
• Available to start immediately
