Stone & Water World

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking people to join our team at Stone & Water World, Mt wellington store. 

We have casual and fixed-term opportunities available, with an immediate start for the right candidates.

The fixed-term position will run until approximately January 2027, with hours of around 25–30 per week. Casual hours will be offered as required, depending on business needs.

There may also be an opportunity to continue in a longer-term role, with the potential to move into a full-time permanent position for the right candidate, depending on business needs and performance.

About the Role

You’ll play an important part in keeping our garden centre running smoothly by:
Helping customers and providing friendly service.
Supporting sales and assisting customers with product enquiries.
Restocking shelves and maintaining tidy, well-presented displays.
Assisting with general store and garden centre duties.
Lifting and moving products as part of everyday tasks.

What We’re Looking For
A friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A valid driver's licence and your own car.
Ability to undertake active, hands-on work, including lifting and moving products.
Experience in retail, a garden centre, gardening, landscaping or a related industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
