Front of House – Job Description
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages accurately.
  • Prepare cocktails, coffees, and other beverages.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with licensing laws.
  • Check customer identification and verify legal drinking age when required.
  • Monitor customers for signs of intoxication and refuse service when necessary.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly.
  • Keep dining areas, floors, toilets, and service stations clean and tidy.
  • Clean and sanitise surfaces and equipment.
  • Restock supplies and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out).
  • Check expiry dates and report low, damaged, or expired stock.
  • Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
  • Work as part of a team and maintain a professional appearance.
