Dishwasher / Kitchenporter

We are an award-winning country hotel located amidst the mountains of the Southern Alps at the bottom of Cardrona Alpine Resort.

Join our team at the Cardrona Hotel and enjoy the amazing outdoor opportunities in every season; skiing in the winter, hiking, biking and fishing in the summer to name a few. Head over to Queenstown on your days off but live in the serenity of the Cardrona Valley or with the small town vibe of Wanaka during your work week. We are between Queenstown and Wanaka - the perfect location to explore the area!

We are looking for a motivated team player to join our busy kitchen as dishwasher/kitchenhand. This is a tough and physical job - experience in the kitchen (basic food prep and washing dishes) is preferred, but a great work ethic and positive 'can-do' attitude is most important. Full training will be provided if needed. The job consists of morning, daytime and evening/closing shifts.

The job is available with an immediate start and we require a minimum commitment of 3 months, but ideally for the whole summer season, meaning until mid-April 2027.

You must be able to stop by for a chat and trial shift and have the right to work in NZ.

If this sounds like you, please apply with your CV, cover letter and work availability.

We have staff accommodation available for the right candidate.

Travelling with a partner or travel buddy? Great, we have multiple jobs across different departments available - please enquire in your application email.

We can't wait to hear from you!
