Kiwifruit Work Immediate Start

KIWIFRUIT ORCHARD WORK 

Location: Kiwifruit orchards in the Coromandel area (Coroglen / Whenuakite)

Induction: 5th October 2026
Start: 6th October 2026, more intake on following weeks.
Pay: $26.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay

Main task: General Kiwifruit orchard work - Bud thinning, summer prune, flower picking etc….

Work is weather dependent. On fine days, work can be up to 6 days a week, with approximately 8–10 hours per day. Work may be reduced or cancelled on wet days, so please allow some flexibility.

Required:

1. Eligible to work in New Zealand
2. Own car / transportation required — no public transport to the orchards
3. Canopy is approx. 1.8-2m height. Ideally you need to be at least 160cm above, hand raise up able to reach and work at approx. 1.8m
4. Self-motivated and have a positive, can-do attitude
5. Orchard experience preferred, but not essential
6. Reliable and willing to work outdoors

Find your own accommodation in town, orchards are about 15 mins drive from Coroglen and 30 mins drive from Whitianga. Local accommodation contact may be available upon request.
