Motueka TOP 10 Holiday Park is looking for a motivated, reliable and hardworking Grounds Person to join our team for a six-month fixed-term position.

If you love working outdoors, enjoy variety in your day and take pride in maintaining beautiful grounds and facilities, we'd love to hear from you.

We're a busy, family-friendly holiday park with a supportive team and a strong focus on providing exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

About the role

You'll play an important part in keeping our park looking fantastic and ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lawn mowing, weed eating, gardening and general grounds maintenance.
• Daily rubbish collection, recycling and waste management.
• Keeping gardens, pathways, camping areas and communal spaces clean and tidy.
• Assisting with general repairs, maintenance and improvement projects around the park.
• Helping maintain our swimming pool and outdoor recreational facilities.
• Working alongside our wider team to ensure our park is presented to a high standard.

This is a varied, physically active role that involves working outdoors in all weather conditions.

About you

We're looking for someone who is practical, enthusiastic and takes pride in a job well done.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• A strong work ethic, reliability and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Good physical fitness and a genuine enjoyment of working outdoors.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, trades or general maintenance (preferred but not essential).
• Confidence using basic gardening tools and maintenance equipment.
• The ability to work independently, manage your time and use your initiative.
• Great attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed.
• A friendly, approachable manner and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays during our busy summer season.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely cares about their work, enjoys being part of a team and is willing to lend a hand when needed.
