Chef

Chef – True South Restaurant, The Rees Hotel Queenstown

We've just been added to the Michelin Guide, and we're looking for a chef to join our small, friendly kitchen team at True South.

We cook seasonal modern New Zealand food using great local produce, some of it foraged, alongside an award-winning wine cellar.

What you'll do

• Prep and cook dishes on the larder and dessert section, depending on your skills
• Help make staff meals for the hotel team
• Keep the kitchen clean and follow food safety rules
• Look after guests' dietary needs

Shifts

• Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

About you

• Some professional kitchen experience (quality restaurants or hotels are a bonus)
• A team player who's flexible and happy to learn
• You know the basics of food safety and hygiene
• Good English
