Dairy Farm Assistant

Dairy Farm Assistant - fixed term for 3 months - guaranteed 70 hours per fortnight

We require 1 person from mid February to the end of May 2027

Work involves milking with one other person in our 80 bail rotary dairy shed plus cleaning up, shifting kline irrigation with four wheeler, waterblasting, splitting and stacking firewood, weed spraying, waterblasting, weeding gardens etc.

Milking starts at 4.45 am in the morning and 2.30 pm in the afternoon. Will go to once a day milking, morning only from mid April.

The working roster is 6 days on and 2 days off 

You will need your own vehicle as we are rural, 20 minutes from the nearest township for groceries etc, pub is 5 minutes away, accommodation is in your own fully furnished flat on farm for $100 per week with internet supplied. Gas for hot water and electricity is your own cost. Some farm meat, milk and eggs can be supplied, plus home baking.

You must have the appropriate working visa as we are not accredited at this time to sponsor anyone.
