Waitstaff Summer Job Luxury Lodge

Huka Lodge Food & Beverage Attendant – Summer Season 2026/27

Looking for a summer job that's actually worth writing home about? Huka Lodge is hiring F&B Attendants for the season, and we want you on the team.

Picture this: serving breakfast with a view over the Waikato River, keeping the vibe going through a relaxed lunch, then helping deliver our signature multi-course dinner in the evening. Every shift is different, every day you'll pick up new skills, and you'll be working in one of the most beautiful spots in the country.

What's in it for you

• Staff meals while you're on shift
• Competitive hourly rate
• Staff accommodation on offer (subject to availability)
• Free training - learn wine service, fine dining, and top-tier hospitality from people who know their stuff
• A crew of good people who've got your back on busy nights
• Career doors open up across Beckons Lodges - nine luxury lodges, four countries, three continents. Yep, this could turn into your ticket overseas

What we're after

• Minimum 2 years' experience waiting tables, ideally somewhere that took its food and service seriously
• Happy to learn about wine and chat to guests about it
• You show up looking sharp and ready to go
• You like people, you like hospitality, and it shows
• You can keep your cool when it gets busy

You'll fit right in if you...

• Like making people feel welcome without overthinking it
• Take pride in the small stuff - the detail is what makes a great night
• Bring energy to your shifts, even the long ones
• Want to actually learn something this summer, not just clock in and out
• Work well with a team and don't mind mucking in

Spend your summer somewhere extraordinary, get paid for it, and walk away with real hospitality experience on your CV. Apply now and let's get you sorted for the season.
