Motueka TOP 10 Holiday Park is seeking to employ two enthusiastic Holiday Park Assistants to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on, varied position supporting the day-to-day operation of our busy holiday park.

Motueka TOP 10 Holiday Park is a large privately owned, award-winning, family-friendly holiday park situated in the heart of Motueka and at the gateway to the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park.

We offer a wide range of accommodation and camping options, alongside excellent facilities including a heated swimming pool, private spa, playground, jumping pillow, communal kitchens, BBQ areas and conference facilities.

About the role

This position offers plenty of variety, with duties across all areas of holiday park operations, including:

• Housekeeping and preparing guest accommodation
• Reception duties and assisting guests
• Tour and activity bookings and information
• Laundry
• Grounds and garden maintenance
• General building and property maintenance
• Daily swimming pool and spa preparation and maintenance
• Rubbish and recycling
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day park operations

The successful applicants will also share responsibility for being on call three nights per week.

You will work rostered shifts and receive two rostered days off each week.

About you

We are looking for a couple or duo who:

• Are friendly, positive and genuinely enjoy helping people
• Are reliable, honest and able to work well without constant supervision
• Work effectively together and as part of a wider team
• Are physically fit and comfortable undertaking practical, hands-on work
• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards
• Are flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
• Can communicate confidently and professionally with guests
• Remain calm and helpful when responding to after-hours situations
• Share our commitment to excellent guest service and our RITES values

Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, housekeeping, reception, grounds work or property maintenance would be an advantage. However, a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are equally important.
