Our quirky and iconic mussel restaurant is located at the top of the South Island. 

We are looking for some backpacker superstars to join our Kitchen & FOH team from late September 2026 – April 2027. 

[Cook Position]

• A passion for preparing delicious, beautiful food, every day
• Experience in kitchens and food preparation, ideally in a commercial kitchen
• Must be able to work weekends on a rotating schedule 
• Must be able to work independently
• High standards of food hygiene
• Average 30+ hours per week, or more during peak months
• Enthusiasm for upskilling and learning new things

• Weekly pay
• Staff accommodation arranged at the nearby hostel, just a 3-minute walk
• Valid work visa.
