Destoner Tractor Operator

Highfield Farm is a 2500 Ha intensive cropping, vegetable and dairy farm in Canterbury, New Zealand.

• We are looking for an experienced tractor driver to join our cropping team from August 2026 for Spring planting season until end of October 2026.
• Farm work duties will include operating John Deere tractors and destoners plus other farm jobs.
• Located between Ashburton, Methven and Rakaia in Mid-Canterbury. Approximately 1 hour drive South of Christchurch.

Applicants must have:

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (We can not sponsor you)
• Must speak fluent English.
• Have your own transport.
• The ability to work long hours and weekends.
• A full NZ drivers license or equivalent international drivers license.
• John Deere tractor driving experience.
• Accommodation on farm. 
• Able to work well with others in a team and also alone. 

There may be additional work if required for the Summer harvest 2026/27
