Factory Labour + Forklift Operators

FACTORY PROCESS LABOURERS AND FORKLIFT OPERATORS WANTED!

• 3 weeks' work
• Starts 17 August
• Day and night shifts available

Our client is a busy processing plant located in South Canterbury, and they have a 3-week project coming up where they will be operating 24/7 to get their production targets met.

We are looking for physically fit and reliable factory process labourers, as well as experienced and licenced forklift operators to join the crew for this 3-week period. 

Job details

• Moving product around the plant
• Tipping product into hoppers
• Bagging the product
• Palletising and wrapping bagged product
• Forklift work - licenced operators only 

Shift days and hours

Monday to Thursday day shift - 6am to 6pm (48 hours per week)

Monday to Thursday night shift - 6pm to 6am (48 hours per week)

Friday to Sunday day shift - 6am to 6pm (36 hours per week)

Friday to Sunday night shift - 6pm to 6am (36 hours per week)

PLUS day and night shift labourers to cover shifts throughout the week/weekend. 

What you need to succeed

• Good physical fitness - ability to stand for long periods, lift/move product
• Good communication skills - able to understand instructions and health and safety information
• Good written language, reading and numeracy skills
• Proven and reliable work record - able to provide 2 references
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing 
• Reliable transport to get to the work site
• Ability to start on the 17th of August, and to commit to the full project length (3 weeks)
