Role Overview
We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and deliver exceptional dining experiences at Miss Lucys in LyLo Auckland. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, maintain standards, and support a culture of deliciousness on every plate.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard, following established recipes.
• Maintain portion control, quality control, and minimize waste.
• Assist with sauces, soups, hot dishes, and pantry items for service and events.
• Monitor food storage and cleanliness to meet hotel standards.
• Support stock requisition and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Comply with WH&S guidelines and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience as a cook/chef in a busy fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
