Asian Cook/chef

Are you a master of the wok? Do you have a passion for authentic Asian flavours? We are looking for a skilled and energetic Thai Cook / Wok Expert to join our team in Spreydon, Christchurch!

If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and love serving up delicious, high-quality Asian cuisine, we want to hear from you.

• Prepare and cook authentic Asian/Thai dishes using traditional wok techniques.
• Manage high-heat cooking efficiently while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
• Keep your kitchen station clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with our friendly kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy rushes.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of hands-on cooking experience (specifically with wok cooking or Asian/Thai cuisine).
• Skills: Strong knife skills, excellent speed, and a great understanding of Asian flavor profiles.
• Attitude: A hard worker, reliable team player, and able to work under pressure.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

• Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour.
• Hours: Consistent shifts in a supportive and fun working environment.
• Location: Conveniently located in Spreydon (Christchurch).
