Chef de Partie Opportunity - Start Immediately - Fixed Term

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic CDP or Commis chef to join our friendly restaurant and hospitality team at our stunning Man O' War Bay location on Waiheke Island. This is a great opportunity for the right person who has had previous chef experience to further their kitchen and hospitality experience over winter in a great beachfront location.

Reporting to our Head Chef, this role will ensure the highest standards and quality in the daily preparation of food and customer service, and will be up-to-date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Mise en place
• Food preparation and set up
• Restocking
• Cleaning and pack down at the end of the shift

You will have:

• At least 2 years chef experience
• A great team player
• A high level of professionalism and personal presentation
• Good understanding of food service standards - a food handling certificate would be an advantage
• Flexibility, as this is a busy, fast paced restaurant
• Right to work in NZ - must have a valid, current working visa for NZ
• Willingness to live on Waiheke
