Automotive Mechanic Experienced

Are you an experienced automotive mechanic - on a working holiday and who can commit for a minimum of 6 months??

Veolicity Mechanical is looking for an experienced good all-round automotive mechanic for a family-owned one-stop mechanical repair business in North Canterbury.  Live in the vibrant, popular outdoor adventure, thermal pools tourist town of Hanmer Springs, where there is always something going on.  It is just a short commute to the small rural town of Culverden where Velocity Mechanical is based and where you would work.

You would be providing a wide range of mechanical services, from Velocity Mechanical which services a wide area of North Canterbury. They are very busy and need an experienced qualified mechanic with at least 4 years' experience, with strong mechanical and technical knowledge to join the team.  You need to be flexible and a good all-rounder.

It is a lovely area of New Zealand, and the city of Christchurch is only 97 kms away    The Great New Zealand outdoors is just over the back!  If you prefer a smaller community, the outdoors and getting to know the real New Zealand, you may enjoy this job.   It is also a great place to base yourself so you can explore the northern part of the South Island.

Hours are 40+ a week.  While they prefer someone permanent/long term, they may consider someone on a working holiday visa with the right experience and qualifications.   Good spoken English is necessary and a commitment to stay a minimum of 6 months.
