Looking for 1–2 backpackers (couples especially welcome, solo is fine too) to help with house and garden work in exchange for accommodation. Minimum stay 1 week.

You’ll stay in a shared dorm room. TV, unlimited wifi in the lounge (stream Netflix, Disney+, etc). Kitchen and bathroom shared in the main house.

Work includes general house cleaning, gardening, yard work, fencing, firewood, and basic building maintenance/painting. No experience necessary.

Paid work for the cost of accommodation; under current Government rules this is a paid job: 15 hours per week, per person (@ $23.95/hr + 8% holiday pay, ~$388/week), which covers your accommodation in full. No cash wage, but you won’t be out of pocket. Contract provided on start. Must hold a valid Working Holiday Visa (or other NZ work visa) and have an IRD number.
