About the business

Revive Café has been established in the CBD for over 20 years serving thousands of healthy plant-based meals on a weekly basis through our Auckland City Café. 

We are open Monday to Friday, so no night or weekend work is required. 
We are now seeking a Café Assistant Manager to join our small but tight team.

About the role

We don't do table service and we don't make meals to order. 
Our service style is delicious cabinet food made daily to serve our customers. 
We also make and sell our own mueslis, nut butters, frozen meals and other products. 

No coffee or Alcohol serving. 
 

Your main responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day service:

- Opening & Closing the Café
- Serve customers at the counter
- Maintain a clean Café and workspace 
- Be responsible for training and delegating staff
- Cash ups 
- Weekly banking

You will work alongside the Operations Manager.  


Ideally we want all staff to be ALLROUNDERS to jump in any department to help for example pack muesli or other ingredients, assist with our online orders and make nut butters.


We are looking for someone who has some experience in hospitality.
Someone who stays calm during busy times and brings great energy, someone reliable and trustworthy.

We need someone who is available for at least 6 months.
 

Standard shifts are between 7AM - 6PM. Shifts do change. Currently we are offering minimum 30 hours per week, but extra shifts are available during busy periods, and leave covers.
 

We are happy to hire someone now casually (no guaranteed hours / $23.95ph) to support us and to get the training started.

The official full-time position will start on Monday 14th September 2026.
