ABOUT US

On the Shores of Lake Ohau nestled on 10 hectares is a 72 room Alpine Lodge. Mike and Louise Neilson (the owners) have created an amazing recipe that has stood the test of time (34 years). Generation after generation return over winter to unwind and ski/board their hearts out. Summer is no slouch either, with Lake Ohau Lodge being a prime stop for the Alps to Ocean cycle trail. 

Our mantra is to treat every guests as a welcomed visitor in our own home.

ABOUT THE ROLES
We are looking for the following staff with positions available now.

Housekeeper

• 4 positions available 
• Mimum commitment until End of December with preference for those available until April
• Full time with hours fluctuating each week 
• Shift work as is the nature of our nightly guest movements, typically 8am - 4pm

Front of house (restaurant)

• 3 positions available
• Minimum commitment until end December preference for those available until April
• 20-30 hours per week for October - 30-40 in Nov/Dec, and 40+ Jan
• Split shift work (breakfast and dinner services) as is the nature of our guests meals
• Barista and/or bar experience highly desirable.

Back of house (Kitchen hand and chef)

• 1 kitchen hand / cook
• 1 Demi or CDP chef
• Minimum commitment until end December preference for those available until April
• Consistent hours and days to cover all service periods 30-40 hours per week 4-5 days a week.
