Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Surf Instructors to join our team. We are looking for both a head coach and a support staff member. As a Surf Instructor, you’ll be responsible for teaching surfing techniques, ensuring the safety of all participants, and creating a positive and engaging experience for our surfers. We are on the hunt for a casual coach from mid October - February/March. Potentially Longer. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach surfing techniques to individuals and groups of various skill levels.
• Assess students' abilities and tailor instruction to their needs.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Provide feedback and encouragement to help students improve.
• Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and cleanup.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Stay up-to-date with surf conditions and ocean safety information.

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to those with a Surf Instructors Level 1 or 2 (or willingness to obtain).
• An up-to date first aid certificate or lifeguard experience would be ideal.
• Proven surfing experience and strong understanding of surf techniques.
• Previous teaching or coaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Passion for surfing and a commitment to promoting ocean safety.
