River-T Wines are hiring!
We are currently taking applications for two people traveling together that are able to help us through our summer season. The successful applicants will need to be available to start on the 4th of September and ideally be available until May however anytime after February will be considered. Our boutique, family-owned vineyard and cellar door is located in the picturesque Waitaki Valley, just outside of Kurow. We are a small but dedicated team and are looking for the perfect people to join our team.
Previous experience in hospitality and the ability to work well under pressure will be required. Wine knowledge and barista skills are desirable however if you are enthusiastic about the industry and keen to learn, this can be taught on the job. Staff are responsible for ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience and will be trained to help with cellar door, kitchen & vineyard tasks. We are looking for energetic, fun and motivated staff that will fit well into our work family. Hours will be between 20 - 30hours per week.
* Energetic, positive with an outgoing personality
*Great conversational English
* Duty managers licence and barista skills preferable but not essential
* Good communication skills and confident when speaking to groups of people
* A quick learner with the ability to work under pressure
* A NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa
Accommodation on the vineyard can be offered if required.
