Vineyard Pruning

Rimapere is a vineyard with 24 ha of organic grapevines in the heart of Marlborough's grape growing region. We are a small international team running the vineyard and cellar door operations and are looking for experienced staff to help us prune the vines this winter. 

The work will include cutting and wrapping, as well as the removal of canes and vines. There will also be general maintenance work to be done throughout the vineyard. This is a casual position with generally about 35-40 hours work per week, extra work can be possible. Previous pruning experience is necessary. You need to be physically fit, be able to work outside on your feet, rain or shine and have a positive attitude and be a team player. You will also need to have your own transport to and from work.

The position is available from mid/late May and should last for possibly 2 months or longer. We can discuss the remuneration depending on the skill levels.
