Are you interested in working in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand near the Iconic Lake Pukaki , engaging in meaningful work that helps protect the environment?

We are located on a high country station in the Mackenzie country near Lake Pukaki and the Ben Ohau mountain range.

Awesome location,10 minutes from the town of Twizel only 40 Minutes from Mt Cook National park

We are looking for some fit and healthy energetic people who to work on our yearly wilding pine removal program (invasive weed control).
The job mainly consists of using loppers( tree pruners) to cut out small wilding pine seedlings that are spreading throughout the landscape. If hired you will be expected to work at a quick pace to get the job done efficiently and safely.
We are an organic property so we don't use harmful chemicals or pesticides for weed control, instead we use hand tools etc.

If you like working in the fresh mountain air while helping maintain and care for the landscape, this could be for you.
no experience necessary , training, Health and safety and tools provided.

Currently our staff accommodation is full , but just a short 5 minute drive away is a freedom campground( with toilets) on the shores of lake Pukaki with awesome views which is ideal for self contained campervans etc. We have many workers currently doing this and working out great
