Cook/chef

Swap the city grind for big skies, sun filled days, and a proper Central Otago summer.

The Wedderburn Tavern has been a bustling country bar and restaurant serving the Maniototo since 1885. We’re on the hunt for a chef or cook over our busy summer who wants more than just another kitchen job — this is a chance to be part of a place, not just pass through.

Set amongst some of the most picturesque landscapes in New Zealand, this is more than just a job — it’s a chance to experience the outdoors, big skies, and a true slice of rural Kiwi life.

If you’re travelling New Zealand and want a role where you can earn well, live simply, and actually enjoy where you are, this is it.
