General Instructor

Are you looking for your next adventure? Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you passionate about working with children aged 7-16? Lakewood Lodge is recruiting General Instructors for our upcoming busy period, Mid-August – December (with the possibility of extension).

Lakewood Lodge is an Adventure Farm Camp located approximately 45 minutes south of Pukekohe and 35 minutes north of Hamilton. We offer a wide range of activities such as the Climbing Wall, Flying Fox, Horse Games, Archery, Low Ropes, Survival, Kayaking, and many more. We welcome groups from all around New Zealand as well as overseas groups.

We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working staff to lead activities such as the Climbing Wall, Flying Fox, Archery, Low Ropes, Horse Games, and Kayaking for groups aged 7-16. Previous instructor experience isn’t required, as full training will be provided; however, a love for working with children and the outdoors is essential. Please note that, as we are a small team, the General Instructor role also includes duties such as housekeeping, kitchen prep, farm work, and gardening. We all work together to complete all the tasks required to run a successful camp.

We can provide live-in accommodation on-site, which is a small cabin next to our beautiful lake. This accommodation also includes your meals.
