We invite applications along with resumes for an exciting opportunity at our 9-hole golf resort located in North Auckland, which boasts 27 lodging options, a restaurant, a cafe, and three conference rooms.

We're seeking a candidate with a hospitality background, proficient in food and beverage service, and ideally skilled in barista coffee making (though not mandatory, as training is provided). The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and integrate well into our team.

Job Description:

Prepare food and beverage areas before service.
Welcome guests warmly and ensure a memorable farewell.
Uphold high service standards and greet guests accordingly.
Proactively meet guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and address concerns promptly.
Have a thorough understanding of various silverware types.
Maintain silverware and E.P.N.S ware, ensuring their readiness for service.
Arrange the restaurant as per the table layout and standards set by management.
Complete all pre-service tasks.
Participate in meal period briefings.
Be familiar with the menu and daily specials.
Greet and seat guests, present menus and wine lists, and manage napkin service.
Take and serve food and beverage orders.
Offer barista coffee services or learn through our training.
Manage the Waiter’s station during and post-service.
Assist in delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
Professionally handle guest complaints.
Clear and store used silverware and equipment.
Process final bills using the POS system and manage guest payments.
Reset tables as directed.
Transport soiled linen to the designated area.
Report any theft or damage to the Manager.
Report to the Manager at the end of the shift.
Support other restaurant functions, such as answering calls and handling transactions.
Complete shift closures at the POS terminal.
Maintain punctuality, proper uniform, and name badge at all times.
Understand and adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures.
Engage in staff training and briefings.
Foster teamwork and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
Uphold high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
Assist in setting up tables, linens, chinaware, glassware, and silverware discreetly.
Help stock service items and food.
Prepare smaller food items like toast, soup, or beverages.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
For the suitable candidate, we offer sponsorship opportunities (work visa or resident visa) in the long run.

In lieu of free accommodation, responsibilities include:

Nightly security checks of the 27 rooms.
Managing late-night check-ins (6pm-11pm).
Handling after-hours calls (6pm-11pm).
Deactivating alarms triggered by smoking guests at night.
Recording daily wastewater discharge volumes.
Undertaking additional tasks as required by the host during nighttime.
