Casual Caregivers & Nurses Wanted
Looking for flexible healthcare work that fits around your life?
We’re currently recruiting caregivers, nurses, and other related healthcare professionals for casual shifts in the Nelson / Tasman region.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, meal-times etc)
- Assist with mobility, transfers and safely operating hoists
- Providing meaningful companionship, engaging in activities, and offering emotional support
- Dispose of waste in designated bins
- Observing and accurately reporting any changes in physical or mental health to the nursing team
Requirements
- Previous experience as caregiver, healthcare assistant or nurse is a must
- A high degree of empathy, patience, and outstanding communication skills
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Physical fit with to handle manual handling
- Reliable and a positive attitude
